What is Hampden Idol?
Hampden Idol is an annual karaoke competition that takes place at Hampdenfest each year in September. Hosted by Keyboard Man, the contest is all about having a good time, with as much emphasis on style and entertainment value as there is on singing. That other "Idol" competition you may have heard of claims to be all about things like "vocal talent" and "star factor," but everyone knows that it's all about having a good time on stage! And if you like to have a good time, regardless of how well you sing, you need to be in Hampden Idol. We feature judges with as much celebrity clout as we can find,
